EFOY Comfort 140 Fuel Cell: Now you can have power wherever and whenever you want; there’s no need to compromise safety or convenience. If you’ve got a EFOY fuel cell you will always have a source of electrical power but without the noise and the odor. The EFOY fuel cell is Lightweight and compact (7 kg) and measures 443mm x 202mm x 288mm. The EFOY fuel cell works cleanly and economically using methanol cartridges (available above) and producing a constant 12V supply. The only thing it puts out besides electrical power is water and carbon dioxide in an amount comparable to a child’s breath.

Because of this, the LE-v50 is virtually indestructible having passed the tests of an Antarctic winter with flying colours. The LE-v50 utilises a cross-ventilated 'savonious' vertical axis rotor coupled with the well proven axial flux alternator design that has been successfully used on all of our turbines. This gives power outputs of up to 70 watts in absolute silence. This eliminates the need for complex slip-rings and yaw pivots that are often prone to wear and tear.
