Has anyone heard of the new scam that is affecting African men? It basically involves many of the social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. The scammers are targeting the most vunrable of them all, black african males.
By posing as a white European female who can offer a new love and life for them in Europe. The scammers lure their victim in with an initail contact saying they find them attractive, after going through a series of scripts designed to extract money from the victim, the sudo female then says she wants him to move to her country and that she works within imigration and can get a passport for a small fee and organise travel from her end because it is cheaper to do so. The victim is then asked to do a bank transfer for $4000 to a certain bank account after which they never see or hear from the female again.
