Sunware SW3061 12V 12 watt Marine Module

Sunware SW3061 12V 12 watt Marine Module: "SunWare solar modules are designed and tested specifically for use in marine and salt water. The modules are completely maintenancefree, durable, and weatherproof. Even under extreme exposure to UV rays whether in the Caribbean, the mediterranean,or the North Sea SunWare solar modules are always a reliable partner. Their distinctive feature: all 12V standard solar modules are designed with 40 cells. Consequently, SunWare solar modules can be fitted without rear ventilation. Thus, any voltage drop due to high outside temperatures is compensated by the 4 additionally integrated cells to enable a full recharge of the battery"

BP Photovoltaic Solar Panel 40 watt BP 340J 3 series 12V

BP Photovoltaic Solar Panel 40 watt BP 340J 3 series 12V
The BP 3 series solar panel is an advanced photovoltaic module that incorporates polycrystalline cells using SiN coating to give superior efficiency compared with same rated modules from other manufacturers. All the solar panels have “ARC” glass, an anti-reflective coating with self-cleaning properties so that under normal conditions panels do not require cleaning. The modules are robustly constructed using BP’s clear anodised Universal frame and are offered with a warranty that will give you confidence in your system for many years ahead.

The 3 series modules have a 12V nominal output and are primarily designed for battery charging applications such as off-grid homes, telecommunications & telemetry sites, navigation equipment, motorhomes & caravans, sailboats and other sites where low power is needed. Solar panels can be connected in parallel to increase power and are modular allowing the user the flexibility to build up a system over a period of time in line with budgets and power requirements.

Key Product feature's

  • 90% Power output warranty over 12 years
  • 80% Power output warranty over 25 years
  • 5 Year warranty – free from defects in materials and workmanship
  • Clear Universal frame is manufactured from clear anodised aluminium alloy type 6063T6. Silver in colour.
  • Temperature cycling range of –40°C to +85°C for 200 cycles
  • Damp heat tested to withstand 85°C and 85% relative humidity for 1000 hours
  • Front and rear static load tested eg wind, to 2400 Pa
  • Front load tested eg snow, to 5400 Pa
  • Hailstone impact tested to 25mm hail at 23m/s from 1m distance
  • Rugged and weatherproof construction - the cells are laminated between sheets of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and 3mm tempered glass with a blue tedlar rear
  • The tempered glass is highly transmissive and self cleaning from rainfall
  • 36 cell panels are configured in a 4 x 9 matrix, each 2 rows of 9 are connected in series with a Schottky by-pass diode to produce 2 x 6V strings. These 2 x 6V strings are connected in series to produce a standard 12V nominal output pane
  • 72 cell panels are configured in a 4 x 18 matrix, 2 parallel strings of 36 produce a standard 12V nominal output
  • Easy to connect - an IP54 weather rated junction box at the rear of each panel provides a 6 terminal screw connection block. The terminals accept 2.5-10mm² (8-14AWG) cable. The junction box has knock outs to accept PG13.5, M20, 13mm conduit or cable fittings accepting 6-12mm diameter cable.
  • All BP Solar modules are labelled with individual performance figures
  • Each solar module is supplied with a grounding screw, instruction sheet and warranty document

10 Meter Boat/Yacht Wind Turbine Kit Rutland 504 wind turbine 60 watt 12V (Marine Applications)

The Rutland 504 wind turbine is ideal for charging batteries on board boats no larger than 10m in length with battery banks typically around 100Ah. While the boat is unattended the Rutland 504 will be replenishing your batteries to fully charged capacity. During longer spells on board the Rutland 504 will provide invaluable topping up so you can comfortably use the cabin lights and other low energy appliances. The Rutland 504 is so lightweight, portable and easy to handle. A portable land tower and rigging kit is available on this site.

Rutland 504 Marine Mounting Kit

Marlec’s 504 Marine Mounting Kit is a 2m (6.5ft) pole kit manufactured from stainless steel and supplied in 2 x 1metre sections with joiner. Two L shaped deck fixing plates are supplied to support the pole and attach to the deck along with brackets to which guys or stays should be attached. Solid stays are recommended to provide a suitably rigid mount for the wind turbine, these are not included owing to the individual nature of the lengths required on each boat.

Want to construct a pole of your own ? A pole can be constructed for deck fixing using a continuous length of stainless steel or aluminium tube, a minimum 2 metre length is recommended. Note that the mounting tube dimensions must be 31.7mm internal diameter and no more than 38mm outer diameter. Also available from Marlec are single 1M and 500mm tube sections for you adapt to your own mounting design

Kit Includes:

1 x Rutland 504 Wind Turbine

1 x HRS503 Voltage Regulator (option for solar input, will require solar diode)

1 x 505 Marine Mounting Kit

16m x 2 core cable
